Josh Whitley

Josh Whitley is a seasoned legal and political professional serving as a Councilman for Berkeley County (SC) Government since February 2015, representing District 2, which includes areas such as Daniel Island, Clements Ferry Rd., Hanahan, and Goose Creek. In addition to the councilman role, Josh Whitley has been a Partner at Smyth Whitley, LLC, Attorneys at Law since January 2012. Prior experience includes attorney work at Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, P.A. from August 2010 to August 2011, and serving as a Law Clerk for the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit from 2008 to 2010. Academically, Josh Whitley earned a Juris Doctor from William & Mary Law School in 2008 and a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Business Economics from Wofford College in 2005.
