Julie Oldfield has over a decade of experience in education, serving as an Academic Instructional Mentor at Berkeley County Schools WV since August 2009, where the focus is on empowering new teachers. In previous roles as an English Teacher and School Library Media Specialist, Julie has developed innovative lesson plans for diverse learners and enhanced engagement through technology integration, achieving a 70% increase in learner participation. Additionally, Julie is currently involved as a Virtual English Teacher for 8th grade students across West Virginia and as an Individualized Supportive Counselor at Winchester Community Mental Health Center. Julie holds two Master's degrees from West Virginia University in Secondary Education and Teaching English and is also pursuing a Master's degree in Educational/Instructional Technology at Nova Southeastern University.
