Andy Nonaka

Andy Nonaka is a Staff Scientist at Berkeley Lab, with experience since 2007, focusing on advanced research in computational sciences and engineering. Previous roles include Group Lead and Research Scientist at the University of the Pacific from 2013 to 2018, where courses such as ECPE141 - Advanced Circuits and ECPE41 - Electric Circuits were taught. Prior experience includes a Graduate Researcher position at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, developing numerical methods for non-Newtonian fluids, a Graduate Researcher role, and an Electronics Technician Internship in the early 2000s. Andy Nonaka holds a Ph.D. and an M.S. in Engineering Applied Science from the University of California, Davis, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of the Pacific.
