Archana Raja currently serves as a Faculty member at the Kavli Energy NanoScience Institute at UC Berkeley since April 2024 and is a Career Staff Scientist at Berkeley Lab since July 2019, where prior roles included Career-track Staff Scientist in the Molecular Foundry. Raja received notable recognition with the 2023 Director's Award for Exceptional Early Scientific Career Achievement and the 2019 Early Career Laboratory Directed Research and Development Award. Previous positions include Heising-Simons Junior Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley from July 2017 to June 2019 and Postdoctoral Scholar in Applied Physics at Stanford University from June 2016 to June 2017. Early experiences include internships at IBM and EPFL in 2013 and 2009, respectively. Archana Raja holds a PhD in Chemical Physics from Columbia University and an Integrated MSc. in Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
