Ben Dichter is the founder of CatalystNeuro and serves as a Neuroscience Specialist and Community Liaison for NWB at Berkeley Lab. With a robust background in data science, Ben was the lead data scientist at Stanford University’s Soltesz lab, focusing on memory mechanisms and data management for a collaborative project. Previously, Ben contributed as a Data Science Consultant at Lineage Logistics, optimizing operations in cold storage warehouses, and conducted research for a PhD in Bioengineering at UCSF and UC Berkeley, investigating the neural control of speech. Early career experiences include mentoring high school students in mathematics and developing algorithms for epilepsy prediction at NeuroVista, alongside undergraduate research in neural recordings at the Sensory Motor Integration Lab. Ben holds a PhD in Bioengineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BS in Bioengineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
