Bob Haushalter

Bob Haushalter is a seasoned research scientist currently at Berkeley Lab since March 2018, where roles include Research Scientist and Chemist Project Scientist. Prior to this position, Bob served as a Scientist at Zymergen, Inc. from February 2017 to March 2018, and completed a Chemist Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Keasling Research Group from January 2012 to February 2017, focusing on engineering E. coli for the conversion of simple sugars into advanced biofuels and chemicals. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from UC San Diego (2006-2011) and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Biology from the University of California, Berkeley (2002-2006).
