Charles Lively III

Charles Lively III, PhD, is a High Performance Computing Science Engagement Engineer at Berkeley Lab since March 2023, where expertise is utilized to foster a user community at NERSC through cross-disciplinary collaboration. In addition to this role, Charles serves as Chief Technology Officer at Swipe Credit and held the position of Adjunct Professor at the University of Arizona from November 2022 to June 2024. Previous experience includes Senior Software Engineer at The Home Depot and roles at Coursera, Drofika, and Georgia Institute of Technology as Academic Faculty and Lecturer. Charles' educational background includes a PhD and M.S. in Computer Engineering from Texas A&M University and a B.S.E. in Computer Engineering from Mercer University.
