Chelsea Chen

Chelsea Chen is a Tenure-Track Research Scientist at Berkeley Lab, focusing on multimodal foundation models and multi-agent reinforcement learning since October 2021. Prior to this role, Chelsea served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Michigan from September 2016 to September 2021, where the emphasis was on deep reinforcement learning. Chelsea obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan, completing the degree in April 2021, and further advanced academic work as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of California, Berkeley, from November 2021 to February 2023.
