Daniel Slaughter

Daniel Slaughter is a Staff Scientist and Principal Investigator in the Chemical Sciences Division at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, with experience in mentoring graduate students and postdoctoral researchers. Previous roles include Project Scientist and Postdoctoral Physicist within the same division, focusing on the dynamics of molecular systems through multi-dimensional momentum imaging and UV spectroscopy. Prior to this, Daniel served as a Postdoctoral Physicist at the Australian National University, working on experimental projects related to positron and electron scattering, and as an Associate Lecturer at Flinders University, where responsibilities included preparing and delivering undergraduate physics tutorials. Daniel holds a PhD in Atomic Physics and a BSc (Hons) in Physical Science, both from Flinders University, and attended Unley High School.
