Dima Zaytsev is a Mechanical Engineer currently working at Berkeley Lab since February 2020, focusing on developing tools for next-gen Extreme Ultra-Violet (EUV) Lithography manufacturing techniques within the Center for X-Ray Optics (CXRO). Prior to this role, Dima served as an Applications Engineer at Micro-LAM Technologies from May 2017 to February 2020, where responsibilities included developing ultra-precision laser-assisted diamond turning processes for infrared imaging and glass pressed optics. Dima also has experience as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the Center for Precision Metrology, conducting data analysis and programming, and as a Research Associate at UNC Charlotte, working on temperature control systems. Early career experience includes serving as a Technical Writer at Vision Metering LLC. Dima holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, obtained in 2017.
