Fangzhou Guo

Fangzhou Guo is a highly skilled researcher in mechanical engineering with extensive experience in developing advanced algorithms for fault detection and diagnosis (FDD) and optimizing HVAC systems. As a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Berkeley Lab since July 2023, Fangzhou has collaborated on creating FDD algorithms for heat pumps and implementing reinforcement learning strategies for large buildings. Prior work at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University focused on machine learning algorithms for electric bus air conditioners, while experience at Gree Electric Appliances involved designing high-temperature chilled water systems.
