Jianjun Hu

Jianjun Hu is an experienced Eng/Env Technology Researcher III and Principal Scientific Engineering Associate at Berkeley Lab since February 2017. Previous roles include Senior Research Engineer/Scientist at United Technologies Research Center (China) Ltd., focusing on HVAC systems and airflow in super-tall buildings, and Research Assistant at Purdue University, contributing to energy-efficient buildings and Model Predictive Control applications. Jianjun Hu holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Purdue University, complemented by a Ph.D. in Thermal Engineering from Central South University, a Master's Degree in Heating, Ventilating, and Air-Conditioning Engineering, and a Bachelor's Degree in Building Environment and Equipment Engineering from the University of South China.
