Mark D. Risser, Ph.D., is a statistician specializing in machine learning and Bayesian methods to provide data-driven insights for decision-making. They are currently a Visiting Scholar and Lecturer at UC Berkeley's Department of Statistics and recently served as a Staff Scientist - Climate Statistician at Berkeley Lab.
