Mike Maguire

Mike Maguire is an experienced Facilities Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in mechanical systems design and management. Currently employed at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory as a Facilities Mechanical Subject Matter Expert since April 2014, Mike has a significant track record overseeing site capital projects, including design reviews and field inspections for various mechanical systems. Prior roles include Senior Mechanical Engineer at Legacy Mechanical & Energy Services, where responsibilities encompassed HVAC design and project management at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, as well as extensive experience at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in various mechanical engineering capacities. Mike holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering from the University of California, Davis, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the Pacific. Additionally, Mike has a background as a Reactor Mechanical Operator in the US Naval Nuclear Power Program.
