Nancy Kohout P.E.

Nancy Kohout P.E. LEED AP is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in mechanical engineering and leadership. Currently serving as Senior Principal and MEP Engineering Leader at SmithGroup since March 2018, Nancy has also held positions as Principal and Associate Mechanical Engineer. In addition, Nancy is an affiliate at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, where responsibilities include advising on the Department of Energy's Better Climate Challenge, supporting major portfolio owners in achieving emissions reduction goals in various sectors. Prior experience includes a role as Mechanical Engineering Manager and Senior Mechanical Engineer at WMA Consulting Engineers from August 2000 to March 2018. Nancy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University.
