Nawa Baral

Nawa Baral is an accomplished researcher and educator with extensive experience in the fields of engineering and renewable energy. Baral's professional journey includes positions as a Researcher at the Harbin Institute of Technology, a Project Scientist, Postdoctoral Fellow, and Research Scientist at Berkeley Lab, and a Scientific Consultant at MacroOceans. Past roles also include serving as a Lecturer and Assistant Professor at the Advanced College of Engineering and Management and the Institute of Engineering, Tribhuvan University in Nepal, where Baral taught various engineering courses. Baral's research focuses on biomass conversion routes and feedstock logistics, as evidenced during the tenure as a Research Associate at The Ohio State University, and includes work on acidic and alkaline pretreatment of corn stover for ABE fermentation.
