Roy Kamimura

Roy Kamimura is a seasoned project manager currently working at Berkeley Lab on the Department of Energy's Systems Biology Knowledgebase (KBase), facilitating access to systems biology data for bench scientists. Previous experience includes roles at Intrexon Corporation as Associate Director and Senior Manager, focusing on technical analysis, business development, and enhancing product markets through application of biotechnology. At Codexis, significant contributions were made in strain improvement projects through data analysis. Roy Kamimura also served as a Principal Investigator at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, managed collaborative projects across national laboratories, and held post-doctoral fellow and research assistant positions at MIT, where advanced data mining applications were developed for bioinformatics.
