Sijie Xiang

Sijie(Sean) Xiang is a skilled software engineer specializing in backend development for data platforms, currently employed at Berkeley Lab since March 2023. Previous experience includes a role as Capstone Project Manager at Shoptaki from September to December 2022, and an internship as a Software Engineer at the National Energy Research Scientific Computing Center (NERSC) from May to August 2022. Prior to these positions, Sijie(Sean) worked as a Data Scientist focusing on AI/ML at OOCL from September 2018 to June 2021. Sijie(Sean) holds a Master's Degree in Information Systems Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Economics with a Minor in Computer Science from Boston University, as well as a summer course in Computer Science from Harvard University.
