Stephanie Prince is a Scientific Data Engineer at Berkeley Lab, where work involves developing open-source software for the Neurodata Without Borders data standard and integrating x-ray scattering data into deep learning pipelines. Previously, as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering, Stephanie designed and optimized analysis pipelines for biomedical datasets and developed Bayesian decoding methods. During a tenure as a Graduate Research Assistant at Emory University, leadership was demonstrated in a multi-year neuroscience study, utilizing signal processing methods on high-dimensional brain data. Earlier experience includes contributions as a Developer for Google Summer of Code, research assistance evaluating imaging modalities at the University of Notre Dame, and exploration of neuroimaging in HIV+ individuals at Washington University School of Medicine. Stephanie holds a PhD in Neuroscience from Emory University and a BS in Biochemistry from the University of Notre Dame.
