Yezhang Ding

Yezhang Ding is a Research Scientist specializing in Plant Biology and Biochemistry at Berkeley Lab since December 2020. Previously, Yezhang held roles as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of California, San Diego, from June 2015 to December 2020, focusing on novel antibiotic compounds in plants and plant defense mechanisms. Yezhang's research experience also includes a Post-Doctoral Research Associate position at the University of Florida, where significant work was completed on plant defense regulation and coaching graduate students. Yezhang's academic foundation includes a Ph.D. in Plant Molecular Biology from the University of Florida (2010-2014) and positions as a Research Associate, Tutor, and Instructor focused on cotton breeding and genetics at Nanjing Agricultural University, from June 2005 to October 2008.
