Zhao Hao is an accomplished research scientist and principal scientific engineer at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory since October 2003, specializing in quantum sensing applications and advanced imaging techniques. Zhao has contributed to developing a hyperspectral imaging platform and conducted significant work in infrared spectroscopic imaging and metamaterials. Additionally, Zhao serves as an adjunct professor at Diablo Valley College, teaching college physics, and has held various positions in academia and research, including postdoctoral roles focused on ultrafast spectroscopy and electron microscopy. Zhao earned a Ph.D. in Condensed Matter Physics from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and a combined B.S./M.S. in Physics from Nankai University.
