Daniel Allegri

Daniel Allegri is an experienced educator specializing in world languages, particularly Mandarin Chinese. Currently serving as a Secondary World Language Teacher at Berkeley Preparatory School since August 2018, Daniel has developed a comprehensive five-year Mandarin curriculum that culminates in AP Chinese Language and Culture. Previous roles include teaching Mandarin Chinese and Spanish at Salesianum School, where a four-year Mandarin curriculum was established, and providing English instruction at ELS Educational Services, Inc. and Shanghai International Studies University. Daniel also has extensive experience in curriculum development for various English language programs at Yew Wah Educational School System. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Humanities from Michigan State University and is pursuing a Master of Arts in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language at Middlebury College.
