David Mendizábal

David Mendizabal is an accomplished theatre professional currently serving as Associate Artistic Director at Berkeley Repertory Theatre since December 2022, where the focus is on creating ambitious theatrical experiences that engage and challenge audiences. In addition, David has been the Producing Artistic Leader at The Movement Theatre Company since August 2008, an organization dedicated to fostering an artistic social movement through the development and production of new works by artists of color. David holds a B.F.A. in Theatre with a specialization in Directing and Costume Design from New York University, earned between September 2003 and May 2007.
