Read Tuddenham

Read Tuddenham is the current Head Carpenter at Berkeley Repertory Theatre. Read has been working in theatre production for over ten years. Read started their career as an office manager and scenic carpenter at Maybeck High School. Read then went on to work as a Production Manager Fellow at Berkeley Repertory Theatre from July 2012 to June 2013. In May 2013, they started working as the Production Manager at Impact Theatre, where they worked until September 2014. Read then took on the role of Company Member and Stage Manager at The Bracebridge Dinner at Yosemite from December 2014 to June 2016. Read has been working as the Head Carpenter at Berkeley Repertory Theatre since July 2016.

After graduating from Maybeck High School, Read Tuddenham attended Oberlin College where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre.

Read Tuddenham reports to Jim Smith, Co-Technical Director. Read Tuddenham works with Patrick Keene - Scene Shop Supervisor, Lisa Fong - Scenic Carpenter.
