David Evans

David Evans is an accomplished economist and leader in the field of antitrust and competition policy, currently serving as Chairman at Market Platform Dynamics since April 2004, and Managing Director at Berkeley Research Group LLC since March 2023. As the Founder and Publisher of Competition Policy International, established in 2004, Evans has created a vital resource for the antitrust community. His previous roles include Chairman at Global Economics Group, Executive Director of the Jevons Institute at University College London, and Lecturer at University of Chicago Law School. With a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago, Evans has extensive experience in platform businesses, providing expert testimony in high-stakes antitrust cases and contributing significantly to the analysis and understanding of multi-sided markets.
