Phil Crooks

Phil Crooks is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in audit and forensic accounting. Currently serving as Managing Director at BRG since October 2019, Crooks specializes in disputes and investigations, corporate finance, and performance improvement. Previously, Crooks was a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee at The Property Franchise Group plc from May 2015 to March 2024. An accomplished partner at Grant Thornton from October 1998 to June 2019, Crooks led Forensic & Investigation Services and served as UK Head of Audit from 2006 to 2012. Earlier in career, Crooks was an Audit Director at PwC for 15 years, handling a diverse portfolio of clients across various sectors.
