Esme Cohen is a Quantitative Analyst at Citi, having started the role in July 2024. Prior to this position, Esme served as an Undergraduate Student Instructor (uGSI) for the CS61C: Machine Architecture course at UC Berkeley's Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences department from June 2022 to May 2024. Esme gained experience as a Quantitative Analyst Intern at Citi during the summer of 2023, focusing on the Rates Analytics Desk, and previously worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Argus in late 2021. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree at the University of California, Berkeley, Esme completed high school at Lowell High School, graduating in 2020.

The Berkeley Student Cooperative is a student-run 501(c)(3) affordable housing provider that removes barriers to higher education for low-income and traditionally marginalized students and empowers them with community-building skills that they can take into the future. We own and operate 20 properties in Berkeley, and providing housing to 1,260 students.
