Cirrus Wood

Cirrus Wood is an accomplished writer and photographer with extensive experience in travel, food, and community news. Currently a regular contributor for Berkeleyside since May 2017, Cirrus covers food-related issues in the East Bay. Additional roles include correspondent for Bay Area News Group and contributor for the Cal Alumni Association, focusing on significant cultural events at UC Berkeley. Cirrus has also contributed to various publications, including East Bay Express and Hoodline, while previous experience encompasses narrative work for the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and The Bold Italic. Cirrus holds a Summer Journalism Certificate from the University of California, Berkeley, along with a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from SUNY Geneseo.
