Kara Tucker

Kara Tucker serves as the Interim Controller and Associate Director of Accounting at Berklee College of Music since July 2019. Previously, Kara held the position of Accounting Manager at American Student Assistance from March 2012 to December 2018, where management of a six-member accounting team and oversight of yearly external financial audits were key responsibilities. At TERI, The Education Resources Institute, Inc., from February 2007 to March 2012, Kara also served as Accounting Manager, managing a team of four and focusing on staff development. Earlier experience includes various positions at The Procter & Gamble Company and The Gillette Company, where roles ranged from Marketing Support Activities Analyst to Senior Financial Analyst, emphasizing budgeting, financial analysis, and training. Kara holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Bentley University.
