Dan R.

Dan R. is a Data Scientist currently employed by Berkley Medical Management Solutions since November 2023. Prior to this role, Dan volunteered as a Data Scientist for The Davies Project for Mid-Michigan Children, where automation of report generation in R was undertaken, and for The Opportunity Project, focusing on debugging models and assisting in data reporting for COVID test results. Dan's prior experience includes a Data Science Immersive Fellowship at General Assembly, which involved extensive programming and project work, including developing a pricing model for Boston Airbnb listings. Dan's background in engineering includes a mechanical engineering role at Draper, where a dialysis cartridge prototype was designed, and a position with GE Oil & Gas, which involved standardizing design practices for control valve assemblies. Dan holds a BSME in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, with additional coursework from MIT Professional Education.
