Michele Gershonowicz is an experienced educator specializing in special needs and autism instruction. Currently serving as a Special Needs teacher at Berkley Schools since August 2017, Michele administers assessments and creates individualized curriculums, while also collaborating with IEP teams. With a previous role as an Autism teacher at Key Elementary School, Michele focused on one-on-one and small group instruction, modifying lessons to meet diverse student needs. Additional experience includes instructing an online master's course in Autism at Oakland University and tutoring at the Learning Disabilities Clinic. Michele holds a Certificate in Education/Teaching of Individuals with Autism and advanced degrees in Elementary Education from Michigan State University.
