Derek Crimando

Derek Crimando is an accomplished legal and claims professional with extensive experience in the insurance industry and legal practice. Currently serving as Managing Director of Claims at Berkley Select since July 2017, Derek has progressed through various roles including Claims Consultant - Team Lead and Claims Consultant. Prior to this, Derek was an Associate Attorney at Lipe Lyons Murphy Nahrstadt & Pontikis from September 2012 to June 2017 and worked as an Assistant Public Guardian at The Office of the Cook County Public Guardian from March 2010 to August 2011. Derek holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, awarded in 2009, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Humanities from Michigan State University, completed in 2006.
