Mark Valente

Mark Valente, CPA has extensive work experience in the field of taxation. Mark began their career at Ernst & Young as a Senior Tax Compliance Specialist from 1995 to 1997. Mark then joined PwC as a Senior Tax Manager from 1997 to 2003. Mark then worked at Swiss Re America Holding Corporation as a Vice President from 2003 to 2008. Mark returned to PwC as a Tax Director in the Insurance Practice from 2008 to 2010. From 2010 to 2019, Mark served as the Senior Vice President of Financial Tax Reporting & Compliance at Mastercard. Currently, Mark holds the position of VP of Tax at W. R. Berkley Corporation starting from October 2021.

Mark Valente, CPA has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from Fordham Gabelli School of Business, obtained between 1997 and 2001. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from Siena College, earned between 1988 and 1992. Mark is also a Certified Public Accountant, obtaining their certification from the New York State Education Department in January 2001.
