Jose Vergara

Jose Vergara currently serves as the President and COO at Berkowitz Pollack Brant Advisors + CPAs, a position held since July 2019. Prior to this role, Jose took a sabbatical year focused on global travel from July 2018 to June 2019. Jose's extensive experience includes serving as Managing Director at Marsh McLennan from December 2012 to May 2018, where the firm is recognized as a leader in risk, strategy, and people services. Additional significant roles include CEO and Managing Director positions at Marsh from June 2006 to May 2018, and Executive Vice President at Goldman Sachs from April 1998 to June 2006. Jose's early career features various senior executive positions at Verizon Enterprise Solutions from 1993 to 1998. In terms of education, Jose is currently enrolled in the Presidents’ Executive Program at Harvard Business School and holds a Master's Degree in Management Information Systems and Services as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Universidad Iberoamericana, Ciudad de México.
