Kevin Towle currently serves as a Procurement Administrator at DASNY since June 2024 and as an Emergency Medical Technician for North Adams Ambulance Service, Inc. since March 2023. Additionally, Kevin has been a Firefighter/EMT with the Lanesborough Volunteer Firemen's Association since October 2021. Kevin has a long-standing commitment to public service, holding the position of Notary Public for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts since February 2015 and serving as a member of the Economic Development Committee since September 2016. Prior experience includes roles such as Senior Planner and Executive Assistant to the Town Administrator for the Town of Adams from August 2018 to June 2020, Assistant Clerk for Registration and Elections for the City of Pittsfield in 2018, Night Auditor at Hampton Inn from August 2015 to April 2018, Legislative Aide for the Massachusetts House of Representatives, and Campaign Coordinator for Tricia Farley-Bouvier's campaign in 2016. Kevin holds a Master of Arts in Government/Legal Studies from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in Law/History and Political Science/Psychology from The College of Saint Rose.

Berkshire County Sheriff's Office
The Berkshire County Sheriff's Office is the largest law enforcement agency in Berkshire County. Located in Pittsfield, MA., the Sheriff's Office oversees the county Jail and House of Correction and Regional 911 Dispatch Center. We currently hold dual accreditation with the American Correctional Association (ACA) as well as the National Commission on Correctional Health Care (NCCHC). The 30 towns and 2 cities in Berkshire County are encompassed within 946 square miles of rural, mountainous terrain. The Sheriff offers an array of support services to all law enforcement agencies in the county to include: K-9 Unit, Mounted Unit, Underwater Search and Rescue Unit, Mobile Command Center, Traffic Control Trailer, Electronic sign-boards and portable light towers. Partnerships involving Sheriff's Deputies include: Berkshire County Law Enforcement Task Force, FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF), US Marshalls Task Force, FBI Western MA Gang Task Force, Anti-Crime Unit, Special Response Team (SRT), and Pittsfield Student Resource Center (SRC). The Sheriff's Office is headed by Sheriff Thomas Bowler, who was elected Sheriff in 2010 after serving over 24 years with the Pittsfield Police Department as a detective. The Sheriff oversees a staff of over 200 employees, and manages an annual operating budget of $17.5 million.
