Law Enforcement and Public Safety Team

The Law Enforcement and Public Safety Team at the Berkshire County Sheriff's Office is responsible for overseeing the secure operation of the county Jail and House of Correction, managing emergency communications through the Regional 911 Dispatch Center, and providing specialized support services like K-9 Units, Underwater Search and Rescue, and Traffic Control. The team also collaborates with various federal and local agencies in task forces to address terrorism, gang activity, and other security threats.
