Opal Jakhete

Opal Jakhete has a strong background in finance and banking. Opal began their career in 2012 as a Sales Associate at Abercrombie & Fitch. In 2013, they worked as a Financial Aid Assistant at Universal Technical Institute. Opal then interned at Wells Fargo in 2014 and 2015 as a Commercial Banking Summer Financial Analyst and a Corporate Banking Summer Financial Analyst. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Economics at Duke University. Opal then joined Berkshire Global Advisors in 2016 as an Investment Banking Analyst. Opal was promoted to Investment Banking Associate in 2019 and recently became a Vice President in 2022.

Opal Jakhete completed their high school education from Conestoga High School between 2008 to 2012. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Finance at Duke University from 2012 to 2016. During their time at Duke, they also attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2014 to 2015 as part of a general course in Economics.
