Prior to this, Thomas worked as a Research Associate at the University of Pennsylvania, where Thomas focused on perception and robotics with a specialization in visual navigation. Thomas has a strong background in autonomous ground vehicles, sensor fusion, and path planning. With a degree in Master of Science in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, Thomas also has experience working as an intern and summer scholar at The Robotics Institute, Carnegie Mellon University.
