Prior to this, Marlea worked as a Registered Respiratory Therapist at Mercy Hospital for over 17 years, where responsibilities included training new employees, educating fellow staff members, and assisting doctors with medical procedures. Marlea holds a Realtor certification from First Realty School of Real Estate and an Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy, Medical Assistant, and General studies from Des Moines Area Community College.
