Doug Johnson

Doug Johnson is an accomplished risk control professional with extensive experience in the energy and construction sectors. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Risk Control for Energy & Construction in North America at Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance since October 2014, Doug has also held the position of Vice President of Risk Control in both North America and Canada. Prior to this, Doug worked as Regional Risk Control Manager at AIG and held leadership roles at Arch Insurance Group and Zurich Insurance Company Ltd. Doug began a career in risk management as a Loss Control Consultant at Starr Technical Risks Agency and has a foundation in loss prevention consulting from Canadian Industrial Risks Insurers. Doug holds a degree in Applied Science Technologist, specializing in Fire Protection Engineering Technology, from Seneca Polytechnic.
