George Orme

George Orme is an accomplished risk engineering professional with extensive experience in the insurance and consulting sectors. Since May 2016, George has served as an AVP Senior Account Engineer at Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance, transitioning into a risk control consultant role planned for May 2023. Prior experience includes founding and presiding over Operational Risk Management Engineers, Inc., and various engineering and consulting roles at firms such as Howden Insurance Brokers, Zurich Risk Engineering, and AEGIS Insurance Services. George holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and has specialized in fire protection, property risk management, and machinery issues throughout a diverse career spanning over three decades.
