Marcus Portbury

Marcus Portbury is a seasoned professional in the insurance industry with extensive experience spanning from 1993 to the present. Currently serving as Regional Head of Third Party Lines for Asia Middle East and Asia at Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance since October 2014, Marcus previously held notable positions including Regional Head of Casualty for Asia Pacific at AIG from June 2006 to October 2014, and Assistant Vice President - Casualty at Liberty International Underwriters from March 2001 to June 2006. Earlier in the career, Marcus worked as a Senior Underwriter - Casualty at HIH and HIH Canada, starting in December 1996 and ending in March 2001. The career began as an Account Executive at Sedgwick from January 1993 to December 1996. Marcus completed education at Barker College between 1984 and 1992.
