Wesley Vandiver

Wesley Vandiver has an extensive work experience, beginning in 1989 as an Officer and Investigator for the Multidisciplinary Accident Investigation Team with the California Highway Patrol, until their retirement in 2006. From 2006 to 2016, they were a Vehicular Homicide Investigator & Collision Reconstructionist with the Orange County District Attorney's Office, Bureau of Investigation. During this time, they also served as an Adjunct Faculty - Collision Reconstruction at Riverside Community College from 2002 to 2016, and an Adjunct Faculty - Traffic Crash Reconstruction at Northwestern University Center for Public Safety from 2016 to 2017. In 2017, they began working as the Director of Training, Forensic Analyst for Berla Corporation. In 2019, they were appointed President of Collision Forensics, Inc. Additionally, they have served on the Board Of Directors for Miramonte Winery since 2004.

Wesley Vandiver has an extensive education history, beginning with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from UC Irvine. Wesley then furthered their studies at Northwestern University in Advanced Crash Reconstruction and Human Factors. After that, they attended Texas A&M University for Traffic Collision Reconstruction and Applied Physics. Wesley then moved on to University of California, Riverside for Traffic Collision Reconstruction and Human Factors. Wesley continued their studies at University of North Florida for Traffic Collision Reconstruction and Human Factors. Wesley has also taken courses at Society of Automotive Engineers - SAE International in Vehicle Crash Reconstruction and Event Data Recorders. Additionally, they have taken courses at Engineering Dynamics Corporation in Accident Reconstruction and Berla Corporation in Vehicle System Forensics. Wesley also holds certifications in Accident Reconstruction from SAE International, Accredited Traffic Accident Reconstructionist from Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction, Crash Data Retrieval Technician & Data Analyst and Crash Data Retrieval Technician Trainer from Collision Safety Institute, Vehicle Dynamics from SAE International, and Vehicle System Forensics from Berla Corporation.
