Glenn Hamel has a diverse work experience history. Glenn started their career as an Account Manager at OfficeMax in 1995 and quickly moved up to become a National Account Manager, responsible for building relationships with Fortune 1000 companies and expanding into non-core businesses. In 2004, they became a District Sales Manager at OfficeMax, where they played a role in developing the small business sales strategy and exceeded sales targets.
In 2006, Hamel joined ADP as the Director of Strategic Partnerships, where they grew the online payroll partnership strategy with large regional banks. Glenn then became the VP of Acquisitions, overseeing the Client Base Acquisition team and successfully increasing transition and retention rates. Later, they served as the Senior Director of Business Development in the Major Accounts Division, where they developed partnerships with internal business units and CPA firms, leveraging joint solutions to open new opportunities.
Hamel joined BI WORLDWIDE in 2013 as the Business Development Director, utilizing behavioral economics to engage employees and drive sales results for clients. Finally, they joined Berlin Packaging in 2015 as the Northeast Sales Manager, and later became the Regional Vice President of Sales for the Northeast region.
Throughout their career, Hamel has demonstrated a strong ability to build relationships, develop strategic partnerships, and achieve sales targets.
Glenn Hamel completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree, majoring in Business Management with a minor in Marketing, at St. Bonaventure University from 1989 to 1993. Before attending the university, Glenn Hamel attended Fairport Senior High School, however, no degree or field of study was specified. Additionally, Glenn Hamel obtained a certification titled "A Beginner's Guide to Irrational Behavior" from an online course offered by Duke University and Coursera, administered and delivered by Dan Ariely, a Professor of Behavioral Economics and Psychology at the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, in the year 2014.
