Director Of Engineering at Berlin Packaging

Martin Rathgeber has extensive work experience in the field of engineering. Martin started their career in 1990 as a Mechanical Engineering Trainee at SKF ERC BV. Martin then worked as a Senior Engineer at A.B.Dick Company, where they were responsible for developing and testing a sheet feeding mechanism for a printing press. In 1997, they joined The Chamberlain Group as a Senior Project Engineer. From 2001 to 2010, they worked at Herbst LaZar Bell, Inc. (HLB) as the Director of Mechanical Engineering. Martin then moved on to Radius Product Development Chicago, where they served as the Director of Engineering. In 2012, they became an Adjunct Faculty member at Northwestern University. Currently, they are the Director of Engineering at Berlin Packaging, leading the Studio One Eleven team in providing packaging design solutions to customers.

Martin Rathgeber obtained their first degree, a Dipl.Ing (MS) in Mechanical Engineering/Precision Mechanics, from the University of Stuttgart from 1984 to 1992. Martin then pursued a Masters Certificate in Project Management at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1998 to 2001. In 1987, they also spent some time as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, conducting research on the prediction of modulus and strength of short-fiber reinforced composites.
