Matthew Colman

Matthew Colman serves as the Global Chief Legal Officer and EVP of Corporate Development at Berlin Packaging since January 2024. Previously, Colman was the General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at Syntellis Performance Solutions from September 2020 to August 2023, where responsibilities included leading legal and compliance functions, serving on the Executive Leadership Team, and managing strategic transactions. Prior to that, Colman was a Partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP from 2015 to September 2020, advising clients on complex transactions and data compliance. Earlier experience includes serving as Associate Counsel for the Chicago Bears from 2009 to 2015, focusing on legal matters and risk management. Colman holds a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in Government from Hamilton College.
