Nina Kupczyk

Nina Kupczyk is an accomplished director currently serving at Mainfranken Theater Würzburg since April 2024 and as a doctoral candidate at Universität Bremen, focusing on research topics such as neurodiversity and art. Kupczyk has extensive experience with prestigious organizations, including serving as director and text contributor for productions with Berliner Philharmoniker since August 2021, where notable projects include "Francesca da Rimini" and Igor Strawinsky's "Renard." Additional directing roles include work at Bühnen Halle, Wiener Musikverein for "Der Freischütz," and Don Giovanni at Oper Halle. Kupczyk's education includes a Diplom in Music Theatre Directing from Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg and a Diplom in Psychology from University of Bremen.
