Simon Kruse

Simon Kruse has extensive experience in journalism, currently serving as a diplomatic and security correspondent, as well as a global correspondent and tech and international affairs correspondent at Berlingske since June 2006. Simon's coverage encompasses Russia, Ukraine, the Caucasus, Central Asia, and the Baltic countries. Previous positions include Transatlantic Media Fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in 2014 and Journalist Fellow at the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism in 2012. Early career roles involved reporting for JydskeVestkysten, Kommunalbladet, and TV2 ØSTJYLLAND. Simon holds a Master's degree in Journalism from the University of Southern Denmark and has studied European Studies at Aarhus University, among other educational qualifications.
