Andy McDonald

Andy McDonald, Managing Director, leads communications for national issue advocacy and narrative campaigns on criminal justice, immigration, workers’ rights, health care and civic participation. He also develops strategies for foundations and nonprofits to raise their profiles and protect their reputations. Previously, Andy led communications at The Pew Charitable Trusts to elevate state policy campaigns and promote the institution. At SEIU, he led national communications strategy for the union and for global, national and local organizing and legislative campaigns. He also served as Press Secretary to the late U.S. Sen. Paul Wellstone. Raised in West Philadelphia, Andy is loyal to Philly sports teams. He lives in Brooklyn with his family.
