Sharon Ben Basat

Sharon Ben Basat is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the water industry and managerial roles. Currently serving as the Managing Director of Bermad India since September 2016, Sharon also holds the position of Executive Chairman, leading the establishment of Bermad India's operations in providing hydraulic automation solutions for the irrigation and municipal water sectors. Prior to this, experience includes serving as the APAC & Africa region manager at Galcon from September 2008 to September 2016, and as a business development manager at Asia Group from December 2006 to August 2008. Earlier roles include a sales manager position at Pacific Water from September 2002 to November 2006. Educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Managerial Economics from The Open University of Israel, completed in 2002.
